As a Co-Founder of Elixir Associates, Jake manages day-to-day Elixir operations while focusing on building senior leadership teams for Biotech and life science companies across North America and Europe. With over ten years’ experience, he has developed long-term relationships with both clients and candidates, delivering Director through to C-Suite hires with precision and pace.

Known for his structured approach, clarity, and commitment, Jake thrives on solving complex hiring challenges and ensuring every appointment drives impact.

Outside of work, he spends time with his family, including his young son and dog. Jake plays golf and tennis, but will try his hand at most competitive sports and is a loyal Chelsea FC season ticket holder.

Asad drives Elixir’s business development, bringing over a decade of life science recruitment and leadership experience.  A multi-award-winning recruiter, he has helped Clinical Stage Biotech, Bio-Pharma, and CRO organisations build high-performing teams across North America – spanning retained executive search, permanent hiring, contract solutions, and exclusive project work.

A regular at global events including OCT, ASH, ASCO, and VC incubator seminars, Asad is known for his energy, insight, and ability to forge lasting senior partnerships.

Outside of work, he enjoys travelling, spending time with family and friends, and following Arsenal, NCAA college football, and basketball.

Connor specialises in building senior leadership and critical functional teams for emerging and mid-sized Biotech companies across the US and globally. Known for his strategic mindset and deep networks across venture-backed biotech, he consistently delivers results at pace while building lasting relationships.

Connor partners closely with C-Suite executives and venture capitalists, supporting companies from early-stage start-ups to Fortune 500 organisations. Clients value his attention to detail, discretion, and commitment to long-term success.

Outside of work, Connor enjoys playing golf, going to the gym, and is a passionate Millwall FC supporter.

With a master’s degree in medical research, Tom combines scientific insight with sharp market understanding to deliver standout talent. He partners with emerging Biotech and Pharmaceutical companies, as well as growing CROs, helping them secure the Clinical Operations and Development expertise they need to compete and grow.

Tom is valued for his consultative style, curiosity, and ability to uncover the exact skillsets companies need.

Outside the office, he enjoys wild swimming, hiking, going to the gym, and catching up with friends and family.

Carlos has worked in life sciences recruitment since 2016 and is passionate about contributing to the development of life-changing therapies.  He has a strong track record recruiting across Clinical Operations and Development, while also placing senior talent in Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, and Medical Affairs.

Carlos is known for his industry knowledge, warmth, and perseverance, building long-term relationships grounded in trust.

Outside work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, has a keen interest in business and occasionally flies to Madrid to watch his beloved Real Madrid play.

Dan specialises in the ophthalmology market and has quickly built a reputation for his drive, precision, and detail-focused approach. He partners with Biotech, Pharmaceutical, and Clinical Research Organisations across the US, helping them grow high-performing Clinical Operations teams.

Recognised with multiple industry awards within his first six months in recruitment, Dan is known for his bubbly personality, dedication, and ability to deliver results at pace.
